QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Do you have any care instructions or tips for my lashes?
PRE-CARE INSTRUCTIONS
You should thoroughly clean your lashes with a mild cleanser as well as an eye makeup remover. Lashes should be clear of any makeup residue so that time is not taken away from your appointment.
AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Regular glue instructions-highly recommend waiting 48hrs before exposing lashes to water. Do not swim, shower, use hot tubs or steam rooms during the first 48hrs.Doing so can cause glue not to cure properly and cause lashes to stick together. Also highly recommended that water based eye makeup remover only be used with this glue. This will help you enjoy your lashes even longer.
Upgrade glue Instructions-using the upgrade glue allows you to get your lashes wet after a complete 24hrs. Oil based eye makeup can be used with this glue. Best for the eyeconic woman who is often active or loves to wear mascara with their extensions. Water based eye makeup remover is still recommended to be used to clean lashes of debris
GENERAL TIPS
Do not use Waterproof mascara, we recommend a water based mascara
An eyelash curler cannot be used with extensions, only a heated curler
Do not pick, pull or rub your lashes as these actions will cause damage to your natural lashes and may possibly be permanent.
If you experience any itching or irritation, contact your technician immediately as you may need to have them removed and a new set applied with sensitive glue.
Even if you do not wear makeup while you have extensions, it is necessary to clean them daily with a water based eye makeup remover. Doing so cleans any debris that can build up on your natural lashes. Not including this step in your aftercare can cause natural lashes to be weakend and may cause early shedding or damage to your growth. May even cause eye mites.
What service should i choose when booking my appointment if I have lashes from a different lash boutique, but want to get a fill from Eyeconic?
You would choose the “outside fill” option for classic lash extensions with either faux mink, silk, or Siberian mink, when booking. If you are wanting volume just select the type of volume you want on the service menu. This is required when you are visiting The Eyeconic Lash for the first time and have had extensions applied from another lash boutique that you would like to add to.
What is the process to find out what kind of lashes are best for me?
It’s as easy as 1,2,3! First, pick your style, so we know the look you are going for. Second, choose your lash material depending on the quality of lashes you are wanting. Third, choose if you want any add-ons to either add that special touch or if you need special glue for a vacation or beach trip!
How is the Real Siberian Mink hair cruelty free?
The Eyeconic Lash is against cruelty to animals for any reason and we have gone to great lengths to source the finest quality of Authentic Siberian Mink Eyelash Extensions which come from safe and reputable suppliers. The minks animals and are gently brushed and their fur is then collected, treated and pre-curled in order to be suitable for eyelash extensions.
Does it damage my lashes?
Eyelash extensions done professionally do not damage the natural lash. We place one extension per natural lash, so as the natural lash sheds (every four weeks) the extension simply falls off with natural lash shedding process. If lashes are applied and not separated or attached to more than one natural lash, or too heavy for your natural lash then it is possible to have damage occur.
How quickly do I need a fill?
We recommend every two weeks especially after your first full set so that we may keep them looking fabulous! If you can only come every three weeks, the active glue may be the best choice for you since its a stronger glue, the retention tends to last longer.
How long do they last?
It all depends on your natural lash cycle. People shed a little differently and depending on how well you take care of your lashes depends on how long they last, but it is possible to last up to four to six weeks if you decided not to come in for fills after your first full set.
Do I need to let my lashes "rest"?
It is not necessary to take breaks between sets and fills. What we call lash rehab is a process in which we recommend a light weight lash along with a growth and strengthening serum..Lash rehab can take up to four to six weeks or longer depending on the initial state of damage.
What if I need to take them off?
Do not pull them off! This will damage your natural lashes. We have a serum that will break down the glue bond making them slide off with no damage.
How do I know which look to pick?
If you don’t know, then we can do a personal consultation at the time of your appointment.
How much do eyelash extensions cost?
The cost of the initial full set depends on the type of material we use for the lash extension. The price of the full set can range from $98 – $400. After the full set, fills every two weeks are less expensive.
How long do eyelash extensions take?
For your first full set of eyelash extensions will take approximately an hour and a half to two hours, depending on how full you would like them and how many natural lashes you have. What are Russian Volume Lashes?
The application of a hand made “fan” of thinner diameter lashes using 2 to 3 or more lashes that are hand-crafted to customize the perfect weight for every single natural lash.
HOW ARE RUSSIAN VOLUME DIFFERENT FROM CLASSIC LASHES?
Russian volume lashes can look dramatic or natural however they differ from classic lashes for the simple fact that a thinner lash is grouped into a fan shape which allows 2,3,or 4 lashes equalling the same weight as one classic lash. This allows a full lush look because your are doubling up on lashes that are applied during your full set. We will isolate one natural lash just like classic lashes but apply the lash fan on that individual lash.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET A RUSSIAN VOLUME FULL SET AND FILL?
This varies depending on what dimension you desire for example 3D, 4D, 5D or 6D. Time can range from 2 to 4 hrs for a full set and hour and half to 2 hours for a fill.

We only use the highest quality of silk lashes.

Most clients can go 3 wks but that depends on how well you take care of your lashes, how you clean them and what makeup you where on a daily basis. You should have 50% of you lash extensions for a 2 week fill and 35% on a 3 week fill. However, to make it easier we have allowed you the option of booking 1,2,3 or 4 week fills for all lash fills. If you have less than 30% of you lashes you will be asked to book another full set appointment.
